Are You Exercising Enough?
Did you know that more than half of all Australians are not active enough? So pay attention because there’s a good chance that’s you! Health.gov.au experts recommend that you want to aim for 5 hours of moderate exercise per week (walking doesn’t cut it!). If 5 hours of running is a lot for you then start small and gradually build yourself up.
You want to be active on all days, so starting or ending the day with exercise makes this easy. If you sit for long periods try breaking it up with small exercise breaks. You may find lunch breaks or when listening in on meetings as a good time to squeeze in some much needed exercise.
