You probably already know reducing alcohol has strong cognitive and physical benefits, so here are some strategies from health.gov.au to help you successfully reduce your consumption. Have weekly alcohol-free days where you drink something nourishing instead. Fancy a green smoothie or a cuppa tea?

When you drink have lower strength alcohol, count your standard drinks and say no when you’ve reached your limit. Tell others how you’re choosing to live healthier and ask for support when you need it. And importantly, don’t be too hard on yourself, love yourself and love your health.
